As part of the exterior wall, windows are not only subject to visual requirements. They have to withstand cold, rain and storms in the long term. In addition, burglary resistance is becoming increasingly important due to alarming burglary statistics.

Burglar-resistant windows and doors are a sensible investment against increasingly bold and frequent thieves. This is because burglar resistance is usually cheaper and more effective when purchasing new windows than when retrofitting them at a later date.

Our building elements not only attach great importance to ease of use and durability, but also to burglar resistance, i.e. stability at the most vulnerable points.

The hardware used achieves a unique degree of stability thanks to its superior design, which allows the hardware components to be interlinked in a force-fit and form-fit system. Parts that are subject to particularly high loads and stresses, such as mushroom cam striker plates and security striker plates, are made of steel. The design of the system interlinking relieves the load on the hardware components. 

Even the standard version of Jakobskrüger windows comes with an additional security corner drive with mushroom-head locking and security steel striking plate as basic security.

• Stable anchoring of sash and frame

• Basic security plus
• Individual security levels
• RC2 or RC 3 according to DIN EN 1627
